Truesdell Turkey Day

We celebrated Thanksgiving early this year ( Nov. 19 - the Saturday before the actual holiday) with the Truesdell side, which included my parents, and my brother and his wife and kids, and a very cute little bear ( who just happened to fall asleep in her car seat before we left to head over to my brother's house) . . . See below How cute is she???

Our Sleepy Lil' Baby Bear

"Pretty Bird"

This baby was brined and beautified by John and an Alton Brown recipe!

It also tasted just as delightful as it looked, mmmm, so tender and tasty!

Here's the table all decorated for the feast, compliments of Kim

And here's Grandpa trying to get a very tired and hungry little bear

to take her binky until daddy had her bottle ready for her. So sweet.

He just adores our little angel, she has turned him into such a softy.

And here's my nephew, Josh helping Grandpa feed his cousin.

He was so excited to help! He loves her so much too!

We had a nice little holiday together, complete with a delicious dinner, a rousing game of pictionary, a holiday name draw for our holiday gift exchange. I hope everyone else had a lovely day with their families and took a little time to reflect on what they are truly thankful for this year. As you might have guessed, Kevin and I are SO grateful for our little Elizabeth. God has truly blessed us with a precious miracle.
