Having another furry pet around has been a lot of fun. We acquired our newest critter via Craigslist on Labor Day, he was the last of the litter and all alone, not to mention he had the cutest head shot. At first, Kevin and I weren't sure how this whole feline and canine situation would work out, but luckily in just a few weeks time they are getting to be playmates and pals. They've come a long way. Gus went from running in the other direction from the hissing thing to giving him playful love nibbles and sloppy kisses. I also haven't had any allergy problems and luckily kitty ( who still hasn't found just the right name ) lets us give him baths which helps. He's a bundle of energy and growing up so fast. And yes, we've gotten a few scratches and come in contact with his sharp little kitty teeth on a regular basis but all the belly laughs we've gotten from his feline antics have been worth it.
