"Falling" in love with the season
I love fall! I love the crisp feeling, the beautiful colors, the smells, and especially the food. It all just makes me feel alive, and invigorated. It makes me want to go on a hayride or have a bonfire, bake pumpkin desserts, decide on a creative costume, fill my home with the scent of apples and cinnamon, eat chili and cornbread, get lost in a corn maze, wander through the woods, run through the crackling leaves, make a scarecrow, and visit a pumpkin patch. Mmmm, I can almost smell the turkey cooking, and hear the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade in the background. Sometimes I complain about the season preceding fall, but I just don't know if I could live in a place where there isn't those smells or feelings. So, I guess I'll continue to put up with the frozen fingers, and frosty toes, scraping the car after it snows, stomping my feet as I enter the house, and huddling under blankets with my cuddly spouse, because I simply could not live without it. I love Fall and I want to shout it! Hip Hip Hooray it's finally here, my very most favorite time of the year!

I agree completely!!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more! Shaun and I chose to get married in October because we love the fall so much. I love all of those smells and tastes too. I hope you get to go and do a few of them:) We're planning to go apple picking soon... I'm excited!
