I made the visor for this costume, you gotta love fun foam!
Check out my dad's silken locks! Hilarious!
My mom made this costume and the shoes too!
Isn't she talented? I think so!
I don't know about you but I love dressing up for halloween! It's the best excuse ever to re-connect with your inner child, and even 30 somethings need to do that. Since Kevin and I have been married, we haven't done very much in the way of costuming ourselves, unless you count the silly suckers picture from above, and that's something I have missed. In fact, the first year we were married we were recovering from a terrible bout of food poisoning, and the years following that we either didn't have the money or a place to go to show off any sort of a costume. This is very unlike me. I love dressing up and being silly, so that's just what I intend for us to do this year together! But this is where I need your help. Now that you've met some of the ghosts of halloween past, what do you think we should be this year? ?? I'd love to hear everyone's input and ideas for some fun ( and not too complicated or expensive) halloween costumes for the hubby and I.

sometimes i dress up and sometimes i don't. by the way, my kids were really excited to here "little red riding hood" in your music. they love that song.
ReplyDeleteI totally have the perfect idea for you - my hubby and I won an award for this idea...be Thing 1 and Thing 2. Blue wigs at Zurchers, red pants (pjs) and red shirts found at D.I. - write Thing 1 and Thing 2 on a paper plate and pin it to your shirt - so easy, so affordable, and so cute! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE couple outfits like salt and pepper, ketchup and mustard, etc. One year (without even planning it out since Chris and I had just started dating a few months earlier) Chris went as a doctor in scrubs and I was a nurse. Very cute, we got lots of complements and pretty affordable! :)
