What Dreams May Come

I don't know if it's safe to take much stock in the dreams we have, but in the last several months and especially lately I've been reflecting on a few of the dreams hubby and I have had. Here's hoping this doesn't jinx anything, but they have included a pregnant me. I know, shocking right? I have an upcoming doctor's appointment a sort of post op check in ( since I haven't been back since my surgery) and I will be able to talk to the doctor about moving forward in our journey. But in the meantime the dreams have kept coming, most especially my hubby has had 3 dreams about a preggo me. The first two were exactly the same, hubby rolled over to snuggle with me in bed and put his arm around a very pregnant tummy, but the latest one has me really thinking. We were in the smallest room of our apartment ,which we've determined will be our nursery and I was telling him as I waddled about the room that we needed to hurry and get the room together because the doctor said the baby could come any day. He was laughing as he told me about it, saying that he knew I was pregnant because of the waddle that every expectant woman gets. I can hardly imagine waddling or even looking pregnant, but the idea of it all sounds very exciting yet so unbelievable.

I also had a dream sometime back in September or October that I was pregnant and at the doctor's office and I knew what I was having and when exactly we had conceived, very clearly. I also was trying to recall in that dream when my surgery had been and just how long afterwards it took for us to have success. I woke up very shortly after having those thoughts still trying to tabulate when my surgery had been. Just a hope? A possible guideline? I'm really not sure. But, I do know I wouldn't be having these dreams, nor would my hubby if we weren't just a bit closer to having a family.

I know the Lord will bless us with a family, although I'm not sure when or how. But, sometimes as they say in the old G.I. Joe Cartoon,"Knowing is half the battle."
