Bridal Veil Falls

On May, 20th we took an impromptu trip to a local water fall with my sis in law Cathy, her hubby David and my cute nephew Emmett.  We had a nice little picnic car-side then walked over to the falls with the babies and then strolled down the trail for about an hour after that.  We had a really nice time.  I adore being out in nature once it's warm enough.  So did everyone else this particular Sunday however ( I blame the weather and the solar eclipse), but it didn't ruin our time.  In fact, we had a lot of family time this particular weekend as Kevin and I and little Elizabeth spent the day before picnicing at a local pond ( in the hopes of feeding ducks  - but they were few and far between) after enjoying a very productive morning yard saling ( we scored some really awesome deals on things we needed for only about $14!  I <3 yardsales!!!).  I would have had pictures to share of the picnic at the pond too but our camera batteries were dead when I went to snap a picture ( they were fine before we left home) - grrrrr!  I had even dressed Elizabeth in her summery 2 piece gingham outfit with a duckie on it for the occasion.  Oh well.

Anyway, enough babbling about our fun weekend, how about I just show you the pictures now instead???

Ready for an adventure!
