Summer Picnic in Santaquin Canyon & 9 Month Pictures

Because there has been so many wild fires this summer, we haven't been able to get into nature as much as we'd like, so we decided to plan a little get away after church one day and share one of our favorite spots in nature with Elizabeth.  Here's are some photos from that beautiful July afternoon. . .

I love daddy daughter photos with Elizabeth peeking over daddy's shoulder!  It just shows how big and strong and protective daddy is in comparison to our little monkey ( who is still somewhat little and I've got to capture it while it lasts), plus there is a tender sweetness to daddies when they hold their babies, it bring outs all their soft, squishy, melty, gooeyness!

"Feel the pine needles on this tree."

Ahhh, look at that view and just relax.

We took a short walk from our litle picnic site to another one and discovered a mountain stream, a precisely constructed campfire circle, and a perfect little stump for a 9 month old photo shoot!  Check out our little miss nature below.

 Curious

 Perfect Pose!

LOVE this one too!  Very amphibianesque - ha ha!
